Logistics Operations Group
Regardless of the political and/or wartime environments, logistics readiness will remain at the forefront of military and national program concerns. Should the long war continue, the military’s projected decrease in size, move toward modularity, continuous modernization, reset/reconstitution challenges, and frequent rotation of forces overseas will provide business growth opportunities. Should combat operations be curtailed and troops withdrawn from overseas locations, there will be a huge demand to provide logistics maintenance and support to service, repair, and reconstitute military vehicles and equipment. Desert sand, sun, and a high ops tempo have taken a significant toll on ground forces’ vehicles.
Logistics lie at the heart of every endeavor and there will always be a requirement to support our defense and national security programs. Likewise, planning and executing logistics-based programs lie at the heart of MTC’s managed logistics services, which are provided across a vast array of military customer depots, arsenals, and manufacturing centers. We assist our customers in their management of life cycle endeavors -- from identification of capability gaps, to development of logistics technologies, integration and production of systems, fielding and sustainment of units, and the eventual disposal of vehicles and equipment. Our subject matter experts provide guidance to programs that include combat and tactical vehicles, petroleum and water equipment, and ground forces weaponry.
